Pendragon and ORION 2026: putting BT3L to the test

In 2026, our BT3L devices took part in experiments within the Pendragon project and in the ORION 2026 exercise. For NSOFT and its UbiSight brand, these events provided opportunities to assess our developments against field use and gather practical lessons for the next steps.

In an article published on 17 April 2026, the French Army presented Pendragon experiments at Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan. Led by AMIAD and the Future Combat Command, the project advances land robotics through iterative work involving military and industry teams.

ORION 2026 ran from 8 February to 30 April 2026. This joint, multi-domain exercise prepared French forces, alongside their allies, for the demands of a high-intensity engagement.

In these two complementary settings, BT3L trials enabled our teams to validate technological building blocks and technical choices in the configurations assessed. The lessons learned reinforce our approach: develop solutions, put them to the test and refine their implementation based on the observations collected.

These milestones inform our ongoing work on tactical communications and data exchange. We thank the teams we worked with for the quality of the discussions and their contribution to this process of continuous improvement.
